Types of Casting

Types of casting/moulds I have found out about so far:

Sand Casting – for one offs

Cuttlefish Casting – for one off mostly

Die Casting – mechanised, for casting large numbers. The dies are made of steel and the metal is forced by hydraulic pressure into the mould.

Butter Moulds – for pressing your butter into a shape. I like the carving.
