Cast Silver

Also in the museum collection are three silver brooches made by Dunstan Pruden. I like the use of texture in them and also the way the boat in particular is represented with the planks and portholes.

In the case next to them is this little deer, which also displays simple but effective use of texture in casting – the marks look as though they were scratched into the material with a pin or something similar.
