**Apply before 29 March to take part**
We’re looking for students and recent graduates who have taken part or are currently taking part in volunteering, placements or in-module briefs with community focussed organisations. You’ll be reimbursed with a £30 voucher for your time contributed to the project, as well as an optional introductory session in podcast production.
Students have told us they value their community volunteering while studying at the University of Brighton, as well as being helpful to their future career development. They also told us that it would be useful to share this experience and the benefits of volunteering to both students and communities. Based on this feedback we are piloting a new Collaborate podcast which will be dedicated to showcasing this activity.
Making a difference: a podcast featuring student stories of community volunteering
If you are a current student or recent graduate and are interested in taking part in this new podcast series, we would love to hear from you. It would involve a 15-minute informal interview that we will use to turn into a podcast about how you have benefited from volunteering. If your community partner would also be happy to take part in the podcast, it would be great to interview them as well, but it’s not a requirement.
