18 December – Moulsecoomb Careers Office is moving! Partially…best read on…

…because keeping you on your toes is what we do best. So here’s the story.

We got tired of asking you to find us tucked away in The Haunted House (aka Manor House, Moulsecoomb Place BN2 4GA) so we’re relocating our Information Desk Service to Room G5, Ground Floor, Cockcroft Building on Monday 18 December.

This means the info desk will be closed for business Monday 18 December. Pre-booked appointments will continue as normal on that day at Manor House. Just turn up and you’ll be seen as scheduled.

From Tuesday 19 December onwards things will shake out roughly like this –

Go to Room G5, Cockcroft to:

• Book a careers appointment.
• Talk to us about how we can help with your career planning, job search, CV writing, interview preparation, basically anything careers-related.
• Pick up careers info leaflets, directories etc.
• You can also speak to the lovely people from the Science and Engineering Placements Team, who are also moving to G5 from their current home in Room 424, Watts.

Go to Careers, First Floor, Manor House to:

• Attend a booked appointment with a Career Development Adviser, Employment Adviser or the Active Student Volunteering Service.
• Speak to the Active Student or beepurple teams.

So where is G5, Cockcroft anyway?

Good question! Here’s the answer;

• Go into the Cockcroft main entrance.
• Turn right at the Student Information Desk.
• Go past Reprographics and through the double doors.
• We’re the first room on the right hand side.
• There will be signage at Cockcroft. If you’re not sure where to find us ask the lovely peeps at the SID desk and they’ll direct you.

So, long story short – book appointments/ask questions at Cockcroft, attend appointments at Manor House.
