Have you considered studying for the Professional Doctorate in Education (EdD)?
There will be an information session at the Falmer campus from 4pm-5.30pm on Thursday 30th March in Room A404 Checkland Building. The session will include information about the content of the EdD programme as well as what is required in the EdD application.
The EdD is a five year part-time programme which provides a research-based and practice-focused experience. During the first two years students are enrolled on an MRes programme and complete three assignments. In the final three years they complete a major 50,000 word thesis. Throughout the programme students are supported by tutors and peer group, and through regular Study Days and monthly Saturday morning sessions. An MA in education or a related discipline and a minimum of four years professional experience is normally required when applying for the EdD.
