Welcome to Obesity: The Benefits of Exercise.

A study of just under 4 million people from 32 countries has shown that 1 in 7 premature deaths could be prevented if people were a healthy weight, rather than overweight or obese 1.

This website provides information pertaining to obesity, and the exercises used to combat the harmful effects obesity presents. This site assumes an undergraduate level of scientific knowledge. Read on to explore the background information relating to obesity, or for an assessment of the effectiveness of endurance training, resistance training, and high-intensity interval training on tackling obesity.
