The Brains at the Bevy podcasts are edited recordings of the award-winning ‘Brains at the Bevy’ programme, a series of talks by University of Brighton academics together with experts from the community, recorded at The Bevy community pub in Moulsecoomb, Brighton. Topics covered in the podcasts are as diverse as why some people live to be one hundred, where the sarsen megaliths at Stonehenge originally came from, how the Brighton Aquifer affects the water and how to cope with life’s ups and downs. These informal talks, recorded in the pub, are packed with fascinating information. Find out more about the talks by searching for ‘Brains at the Bevy’ online. The pub talks are free and everyone is welcome. They start at 6pm and last up to an hour and a half, and include lots of time for questions and discussion. Guests are welcome to stay on afterwards to enjoy food and drink available at the Bevy. In the meantime, catch up with a Brains at the Bevy podcast on any talks that you have missed!
