As we can see from the home page, there is a prominant bright colour scheme. The purpose of this is to attract its targetted age group (teenagers). The site seems easy to navagate with many drop down headings, making the website easy to use for its audience. As well as this, the text seems to be very large, once again, assuming this is for its targetted audience purpose. Finally, it is apparent that the company logo is positioned at the top left of the page, giving this website a professional look it needs.
Evaluating Web Site Color Schemes:
The colour scheme seems to be one of black and red, furthermore giving the webiste a ‘jump out the page’ look. I believe that the colour scheme matches its products and fits with the services offered as it is a sport website, giving a lively and excited mood. The colour scheme is consistent throughout the website and is well designed with the text.
Evaluating Navigational Elements:
This company has done well with its navigation elements as they have easy to use drop down tabs to easily navigate through the different categories in the webiste. It is also using marketting very well as the word ‘SALE’ is large and in bright colours to provoke its audience to navigate through its website and potentially buy more products. This is effective as it allows the company to make more sales, increasing its total revenue, and allowing the company to develop. The only critisism of this website is that it has a very obvious specified audience and if they want to continue to grow, they will need to change its professional outlook, to allow more audiences to be atrracted by its products.
