This week I have been completing my work for my portfolio including putting together a ‘printed’ folio. This has allowed me to pick out and select the work I am most proud of and feel showcases how far I have come throughout this academic year and the course of my degree. I also put together an archive of my work, allowing me to reflect even further by including work from my Fashion & Textiles A-Level. Below I have included a selection of work from over the previous 5 years.
A-Level Fashion & Textiles Illustration
2nd Year ‘Distorted Perfection’ Painting
1st Year Zine ‘everybody’.
2nd Year Editorial Brief ‘Tript Magazine’.
Final Year, ‘idem magazine’, Skin Stories
Final Year, ‘idem magazine’, Carefully Crafted
I feel that over the course of my degree, I have garnered a wide range of creative projects and outcomes designed from briefs which showcase my skills and how I have curated my own visual language. Through creating an Archive of my work and completing the portfolio module I feel that the next step into the world of work is significantly easier as I have the resources I need to create tailored applications.
