Portfolio CV

I completed research into creative CVs to analyse different styles and forms of visual communication on CVs. Through this research, I assessed that I prefer professional and sleek-looking CVs that are not too visually overwhelming. I also reflected on the CV I designed in L5 to see how I could improve it to be more succinct and visually appealing.

Below I have included my previous CV with annotations from my sketchbook;

Here is my new finalised CV;

I feel that my new CV is much more successful due to the new structure, clear contact information, tailored work experience and use of features such as my chosen ‘handwritten font’ which is included in all of my promotional portfolio features. I really like how bold my name is, and I like the linear way that I have structured my columns to contain information.

I feel that compared to other creative CVs it might appear quite plain, but due to not knowing which jobs I want to apply for yet I felt that for me personally, it would be best to keep it fairly standard and professional.
