For my first practice shoot i experimented with taking a range of photographs of my model on location and in the studio. Taking inspiration from APC look books shown by Susie. Firstly i began styling by model by layering her clothing and introducing more colours to her outfit. After shooting some portraits i also took photographs of close up details such as the tie of her shirt around her waste and eyebrow piercing to make it more visually unique. i used 2 different models and this was an opportunity for me to practice angels and realize how important key elements such as composition are. I noticed how the best photographs had backgrounds which complemented the outfit the model was wearing.

Whilst visiting galleries in London i also carried out some brand research by analyzing popular high end brands and also high street brands. I looked and compared how the logos were designed, shop layout, clothing and advertisements. Doing this inspired me to think about how i wanted my brand logo to look and gave my ideas for future shoots. My favorite brands were All Saints and Adidas.
