Performance and Communities celebrates, challenges, disrupts, nurtures and researches the various modes of performance (voice, body, space, movement, language, sound, texture, shape, words). We consider how work on performance can engage, work with and learn from existing, evolving and new communities of people. This strand takes ‘performance’ in the broadest sense and is focused on uplifting research into the role of performance in community building and wellbeing.
