Our new undergraduate teacher degree apprenticeships get underway
Almost 90 students studying on our new Primary Education Teacher Degree Apprenticeship and Secondary Education Maths Teacher Degree Apprenticeship met each other at the Falmer campus at the start of their studies.
The induction day gave them the opportunity to meet each other during ‘getting to know you bingo’, meet the teaching and mentoring team, and get an overview of their school-based training. They also got to know the Falmer campus during a treasure hunt and went on a tour of the library.
Senior Lecturer Helena Widdowson said: “It was an exciting and action-packed day where the undergraduate teaching degree became a reality.
“The 86 apprentices from across the county met for the first time in person. The focus was on getting to know the others who they will share the next three years with, getting to meet the team who are going to support them on this journey and to ensure they feel that they Belong at Brighton.”
