Congratulations to Dr Nicholas Miche and Dr Marco Bernagozzi for their fantastic work in securing funding from The UK Space Agency (UKSA).

The grant will fund a project that sees an evaluation of foot vascular flow under varying gravity, as means of studying lower limb injury healing, to support long term astronaut missions. This collaboration between the School of Sport and Health Sciences, and our School of ATE, will be tested on a European Space Agency parabolic flight campaign, coordinated by Nicholas and Marco. The flight campaign will take place either this coming Autumn, or in Spring 2024.
