This is an exciting opportunity to support a major new project investigating development of propulsion systems for use of hydrogen in maritime applications, until 31 of August 2023.

The project, Hydro MAR-E is a new collaboration funded by DfT Clean Maritime Demonstrator Competition with advanced engine manufacturer Dolphin N2, heat exchanger experts HyFlux and the marine design house BMT to develop the highly efficient, low emissions split cycle engine to use hydrogen fuel in a marine environment.  There are two positions at Research Officer grade funded by this project to operate single and multi-split cycle combustion engines operating on hydrogen.
