Congratulations to Sports Journalism students Leon Imber and Millie Hawkins who have been nominated in the FWA Unheard Voices Football Writer of the Year Awards 2023.

Leon Imber says:

“I’m really happy to have been shortlisted for the FWA Hugh McIlvanney Male Student Football Writer award. I know this is always hugely competitive so to reach this stage is an honour.”

Millie Hawkins says:

“I’m thrilled to have been shortlisted for the Vikki Orvice Award again this year. I’ve worked really hard at developing my journalism over the past 12 months so I’m very proud to be in this position.”
