Last month students from Design and Craft BA(Hons) ran a national Crafts Council event called Hey Clay at Ditchling Museum, working with the public to produce letters in clay. The letters were fired and arranged by artist and poet Gary Goodman into a poem which was read out publicly in Ditchling on Sunday 23 June.

The whole event was free to the public and attracted about 60 people of all ages. Our Design and Craft students praised for being particularly welcoming and enthusiastic in introducing their subject.
