Two Brighton fashion students are in the running for a national competition – and they need your votes!
Trevor Tam (main image) and Dorothy Williams (below) are up for the Graduate Fashion Week People’s Choice Award, the winner of which is selected via a public online vote.
The public can choose their favourite collection from the 28 highest-rated from Graduate Fashion Week, which took place at the Truman Brewery in London last week. Voting is open until 6 July.
The winner of the award, announced in early July, will showcase their collection at the Graduate Fashion Week reception at the Houses of Parliament this Autumn.
The winning designs will also be presented in a capsule collection by Fashion company SHEIN.
Craig Higgins, course leader for Fashion with Business Studies, said: “The work of Dorothy and Trevor was selected by industry judges to represent the University of Brighton in the Graduate Fashion Week Gala Awards Shows.
“This was recognition for the exceptional levels of creativity and craftsmanship demonstrated in both collections. Dorothy’s conceptual, fashion-meets-art statement and Trevor’s quirky, boyish menswear are both worthy winners.”
