Pop in to the Grand Parade gallery on Thursday 7 March 11am-3pm to make a pot from Horse Hill clay.
Next Thursday, ceramics student Xanthe Maggs will be at the North Gallery with clay dug from Horse Hill in Surrey. Horse Hill is currently being prepared for 25 years of oil drilling.
Xanthe says “The plans go against our governments commitment to limit global temperature rise to below 2C. To avert the worst impacts of climate change we need to reduce our emissions by 50% in the next ten years, and 100% by 2050.“
