Artist and composer, and our Deputy Head of the School of Media, Conall Gleeson performs with this brilliant orchestra whose members are in recovery from drug and substance abuse (25 Nov, 6.30pm).
The performance, by Brighton’s New Note Orchestra, the first ‘recovery orchestra’ in the world, features new film work using archive film exclusively from Screen Archive South East, screened with a live improvised musical performance.
The film work explores the condition of ‘solace’ as understood by the orchestra’s members.
Part of the Cine-City Festival.
