Sustainable design expert Professor Jonathan Chapman and architect and Duncan Baker-Brown (who was pivotal in the university’s famous Waste House) are launching their new books this evening: the Routledge Handbook of Sustainable Product Design and The Reuse Atlas.
The evening will explore themes of sustainable design, closed loop systems and circular economies. Both books take radically different approaches to these complex and often misunderstood subjects. There will be brief presentations from Jonathan and Duncan, followed by open discussion and an opportunity to meet colleagues and students working in this arena.
