This session features:

Paul will discuss the role of creative methods have played in the establishing of participatory co-collaborative community archive documenting the living history of Chilean diaspora in the UK.  The paper will use the Crafting Resistance: The Art of Chilean Political Prisoners virtual exhibition as a case study example of how creative methods have helped inform the Documenting Chile Archive project on the Living Refugee Archive to help empower a community and inform new archival practices.

WadeBE, filmmaker and Teaching Fellow: ‘A Mindful Approach to Filmmaking’

The Film and TV Charity conducts a report every 2 years and most recently found that only 11% of participants find the industry to be a mentally healthy place to work. A Mindful Approach to Filmmaking looks at integrating mindfulness exercises in addition to equality, equity and diversity in order to improve our ways of working and ultimately make the industry a more mentally healthy place to work.

The group is supported by the Centre for Arts and Wellbeing. It is open to all who share our passion for creative methods and our desire to provide a supportive, stimulating space within which to explore these. No advance sign-up is required; just turn up on the day if you wish to join us.
