SETTING UP MY VIMEO AND YOUTUBE CHANNELS
I set up my youtube and vimeo channels today so that they have cohesive branding using stills and clips from my released films. I used a photo of me on set with my directors monitor to show me on the job for my profile picture for both of these platforms.
Vimeo:
I put a clip from my Conversations on Cultural Identity with Ruby Kiwinda film on my banner at the top of my profile on Vimeo (please see clip: Screen Recording of Vimeo Profile ). I thought that incorporating moving image into my profile would be a good way to showcase a teaser of my work, and would bring interest to viewers of my page to watch my films.
Unfortunately I am unable to publish my final film publicly on here yet as I have to keep it private as the platforms I will be reaching out to say that the film needs to be exclusive and unseen. However, the film will be posted with a private link and password to access this for employers/Graduate Fashion Week to watch prior to publishing it.
Youtube:
I put a still from my Conversations on Cultural Identity with Ruby Kiwinda film on my banner for youtube, as there is no option to show a clip. However, for the same reasons, I am not able to publish my final film on YouTube publicly yet.
