One miserable grey day 3T travelled by coach to the old windmill at Windmill Hill. It had no sweeps (sails) because they were being refurbished. We went to the round house, made flour, were interviewed, watched a film and climbed to the top of the postmill, the stairs were steep and narrow leading all the way up to the top. It was so steep we had to come down backwards.
We learnt about the windmill and saw a film on the big screen. It was an amazing film and it taught us much more than we knew before. We made flour from wheat and grain and we found out how the windmill works
Outside the windmill we shot a lot of videos, we all loved to film each other and use the microphone with a fluffy as a cover.
Before we left we got to see the windmill turn round very slowly.
Finally we had to say goodbye to Windmill Hill
We had a really amazing time we hope we can come back
