Adobe Software Reflection

Throughout the whole of university I’m kinda embarrassed to say that I have gone the whole previous two years without the adobe software. There is also a part of me that’s also a little proud because I can confidently say that just because I haven’t used the adobe softwares, doesn’t mean that I don’t have any work that I’m proud of.

Since one of my first ever lectures with Emma in first year, she recommended an app called Snapseed thats good for quick but professional editing and I have just stuck with using that. Accompanied by Procreate on my Ipad, I’ve made do but thought that as I’m all of a sudden in final year, I should maybe invest in the adobe softwares.

I have used them before when I was in sixthform so I’m not completely new to using them but it has been a while. I’ve been using photoshop to edit my images and now feel pretty confident in understanding the way photoshop works again. I hope to explore other softwares soon, especially adobe illustrator for when I start creating elements for the portfolio. For now I’ll continue to use photoshop to edit my work as I feel like this is a skill thats good to have to my name for when out in the professional world…

the professional world that is fast approaching!
