Updates

On this page you will find updates on the study.

We completed data collection towards the end of 2022 – a second phase of qualitative interviews with staff and clients/patients, which has helped us to find out what it is like to provide sexual and reproductive health care, and to access and use the same services, at the current phase of the pandemic.

We also presented some of the initial findings of our England-based research at academic and health conferences. This helps us to make contact with others working on the same topics, helps us get constructive feedback from other experts, and may help our research begin to inform practice.

Reflecting the international nature of our nine-country study, we have now presented early findings of the research in England, Canada, Colombia, and Thailand. Now that our final technical report is complete (an internal report to the WHO), we will be preparing a number of articles for publication in peer-reviewed journals. We will update this space in due course!
