2nd October

A larger turn out of volunteers today meant we could tackle a stretch of path that receives a lot of heavy footfall – just by our seating encampment or ancient wood circle as Mike would say!- and its already quite boggy. We set to work building a double layer of corduroy with high side edges and wood chip topping. Amazingly we finished the first phase before we called it a day and left for home. It was thoroughly enjoyable and everyone worked extremely hard. Lets hope we can finish it next week.
