10th October

This morning was particularly beautiful in the woods, the sun shined low through the branches and cast shadows across the woodland floor. We all set off to continue building the long pathway going to the south entrance and made good progress. Its taking on a very windy and attractive character, in tune with the woodland itself. All that is except John who went to the saw ladder to prepare for planking a fallen ash tree. The southern gate has been removed to keep it safe after Ken found evidence that it was under threat. It would be a good excuse to restore it and secure it for future people to enjoy.
