25th April

We had a really good meeting today in a sea of bluebells. Somehow the spring atmosphere spurred everyone on to work hard and enjoy the morning. The woodland is drying out at last and it is much easier to walk around, as a consequence we saw a lot more visitors walking their dogs and Tim spotted a deer running through again. We worked on finishing the pathways on the east side and a separate team did a brilliant job pulling up the acres of sprouting sycamore seedlings. As it will be the May bank holiday/ Cuckoo Fair next week, I have included a couple more pictures of a woodland looking, sounding and smelling absolutely beautiful.
