Saturday Clubs 2025
Our Saturday clubs offer secondary school students the chance to take part in a subject-based project led by University of Brighton staff and students. Participating in our Saturday clubs is free, but we ask you to commit to attending all sessions for your chosen club.
Formula 24 Club – for years 8 & 9
Location: University of Brighton’s Moulsecoomb campus
Dates: 1, 15 and 29 March, 12 April and race day 27 April
Time: 10.00 – 14.00, with lunch included
Work in teams to build, test-drive and race an F24 electric racing car. You will take part in a variety of engineering activities and a local race heat, sponsored by Greenpower, against teams from across the region at Goodwood Motor Circuit. You will receive expert guidance from our technical staff and current university students at our Advanced Engineering Centre. Deadline for applications is 7 February.
Art & Media Club – for years 8 & 9 – closed for applications
Sports Club – for years 7 & 8 – closed for applications
Geography, Ecology and Environmental Science Club – closed for applications

As clubs are run as part of our widening participation programme, priority is given to students meeting the criteria shown here.
