A fantastic opportunity for young people aged 13-16 (Years 9 – 11) with an interest in Art and Design, the online Printmaking Project Saturday club will take place over 4 Saturday mornings (10-12.30) in 2021 – 13th February, 20th February, 27th February and 6th March. An outline of the project is below:
Join us at The University of Brighton for a series of Printmaking workshops. You will learn traditional and contemporary print techniques, exploring mark making, mono-print, mono-type, collage making and much more! Each week we will be joined with special guests from current second years from the BA (Hons) Printmaking course who will share their expertise with you! All students will be provided with a full material pack allowing you to become a professional printmaker from the comfort of your own home. Come and explore your unlimited creativity with fellow artists!
This project is completely free for participants, and will take place online using Microsoft Teams. Students aged 13-16 wishing to take part should complete the application form below with their parent or guardian. As this project is part of our Widening Participation remit, priority will be given to applicants meeting the criteria shown at https://blogs.brighton.ac.uk/wideningparticipation/
