Cut and Fold Books
These are simple structures that are just made out of a single sheet of paper. They are also known as poster books. There are lots of different patterns to choose from and there is scope for inventing your own. Familiarise yourself with them and think about how you could apply them to your work.
Health and Safety Tips for using Kraft Knives: Keep your blades sharp. You can snap off the blades using the black end of the handle - see video below. Sharpen your blade whenever it starts to snag on the thing you are cutting. Please do not put snapped off blades into the general rubbish bins. Leave on desk or put into sharps bin.
More knife safety: Use a metal edged ruler to cut against. Always have a cutting mat underneath. Pay attention to what you are doing. Try not to get distracted whilst you are cutting.
