Assessment 3: Reflection blog
During my study at the University of Brighton, I was able to learn and practice many skills in Digital Marketing. The subject for me is really one of the most interesting and useful subjects for someone who has a dream to work in the field of marketing like me.
- Customer Persona:
Knowing the importance of customer persona, I understand giving a customer persona after interacting with them. Client profiles can be based on their gender, age, financial level, and life goals. Finding the most crucial pieces of information will help you and your team better understand who is purchasing from your business, allowing you to identify more customers who are similar to them and provide them with better goods and services. - Email Campaigns:
Email marketing is a very affordable practise to begin with and is not a challenging activity to carry out. Additionally, it may aid in raising brand awareness and boosting website traffic. ( MarketingPlatform – Dansk Email Marketing Software 2022)
During my studies, in order to better understand customer relationships, customer retention, and sales techniques, I looked into marketing emails, such as e-newsletters, campaign emails, and courtesy emails. I learned how to engage customers with simple and transparent conversations, with eye-catching emails. Moreover, try to understand customer mind-set such as: if you are a customer, what will you pay attention to/ what to expect from a marketing email, this indirectly makes the job successful and generates a huge revenue stream for the business.
- Analysing the Digital Customer Experience
The most interesting part was when I learned analysing the digital customer experience. I’ve learned and applied it in my testing and have further understood that every customer click on our marketing post is a real challenge as understanding that each small factor can affect the level of awareness and customer preference for the business.
“The growth of digital strategies and need for strengthened digital commerce sites increases the need for an optimized digital customer experience,” ( Glassbox 2021)
With what I learned from it, I can apply it to come up with a more engaging e-marketing with extra items like navigational links to the business’s website to reach them with attractive information such as special offers or discount for limited access. For me, a successful digital marketing campaign offers consumers a quick, responsive, and simple experience as they switch between channels on their path to becoming a customer.
- In conclusion, after completing the course I was able to understand the importance of digital marketing and now I have found my strength is the acumen in customer relations and capture the customer’s preference for online marketing. I hope that with the knowledge and practice from the tests I can optimize my skills to make it a tool to help my future business have a good result, get the most out of e-marketing.
