BSc (Hons) Exercise, Health and Rehabilitation Sciences
Our professionally endorsed Exercise, Health and Rehabilitation Science degree examines the causes, prevention and treatment of acute and chronic disease and injury. Students gain hands-on practical experience on a placement through working with clients in the community and in our BASES-accredited labs and extensive sport and exercise facilities.
The first year consist of six core modules where students learn alongside sport and exercise science and strength and conditioning students.
In the second year students study modules within the course themes of physiology, psychology, an exercise referral and rehabilitation.
In their final year, the students will complete a dissertation focusing on exercise, health and rehabilitation and undertake a placement. Placements take place from October – April, completing a minimum of 50 hours. Students have currently been working with organisations, such as Breathe Easy, Bounceback Cardiac Rehab, Active hearts and the NHS
