Mental Health Awareness Week 13-19 May 2024

From 13 to 19 May, this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week will be taking place, during which a series of events will be running to help signpost support services and encourage conversation among students. All week, we will be offering free activities to get students active, with a range of events scheduled for each day, including ‘Walk My Dog’, a fun colour run, and free gym passes. Your mental health and wellbeing are always our priority. Whatever difficulties you might be facing there is support at the university in place to help you.

Check out these free activities:

  • Free sports facility use and equipment hire at Falmer and Eastbourne sports centres, students will be able to turn up to the sports centre and book out sport equipment for free, to use on the synthetic turf pitches, outdoor tennis and netball courts, and in the sports halls. Students will need to bring their student ID to do this. Check the Sport Brighton website or Instagram for available days and times.
