University of Brighton Student Ambassadors helping out on open day

Exciting job opportunity for current University of Brighton students

We’re recruiting for new student ambassadors to work part-time in our Student Recruitment and Outreach team.

Working as a student ambassador is a way to showcase your unique skills and inspire the next generation of students to start their University of Brighton journey.

As a student ambassador, you’ll support our recruitment and outreach work on an ongoing basis. This might look like activities in local schools and colleges, attending UCAS fairs, creating content for our social media and website, and working at university open days.

This role is ongoing and causal, where you apply for the shifts that interest you and fit around your other commitments.

As an international student your university experience could be the reason someone takes the next steps to joining us here at Brighton. The university understands the value of student-led communication, which is why we want to encourage you to apply and share your experience of studying here and inspire others in a similar position to you.

Who are we looking for?

Currently, we’re prioritising certain subject areas based on our current student ambassadors and gaps within course representation.

Please note, because this role this role has an interview and training process that takes some time, we usually look to recruit students who have at least 12 months left on their university course (undergraduate or postgraduate).

The interview process

Successful applicants will be invited to an interview consisting of a group presentation activity and individual interview. Successful applicants will also be asked to complete a short task consisting of a blog/video post.

The closing date is Tuesday 16 April 2024, with interviews expected at the end of April.
