Mahmud Abbas appointed CEO of Selangor State Development Corporation
Malaysian alumnus Mahmud Abbas graduated in 1982 from our Building BSc before going on to study Management at London Business School.
Formed in 1964, the Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) is a corporate body and agency responsible for the development of the state of Selangor in Malaysia. The corporation’s development projects include building housing, shops and commercial centres, and factories and industrial lots. They have successfully developed towns including Shah Alam, Bernam Jaya and Selangor Cyber Valley.
Abbas is an experienced Chief Executive Officer and a skilled project manager who has worked in the real estate and property development industry throughout his career. His previous role was Chairman at the Halal Industry Development Corporation, which spearheads the development of Malaysia’s integrated and comprehensive halal ecosystem and infrastructure.
