Brighton Photography Graduate Selected for International Exhibition
Hungarian alumna student Kíra Krász has been selected for exhibition in a leading European gallery. Her work was shown in the Hangar Art Center in Brussels from November 2020 to January 2021.
Kíra’s work was inspired following being locked down in her Hove flat with with her partner.
They were finding that they felt cramped in their apartment and at the beginning of lockdown, and she began playing Tetris. The movement of the angular blocks in the game inspired the presentation of Kíra’s work, a series of yoga poses cut into the Tetris style shapes, and cropped and repositioned.
Kíra, who graduated from Brighton in 2019, was also featured in the 2020 Offspring Photomeet.
You can find Kíra’s work on the Hangar website and at Photomeet.org.
