Skyrim:
This open-world RPG offers 10 races to choose from, with in-depth character creation/customisation to change their features be it their eyes, hair, or teeth. However, each race has unique abilities which could affect the player’s playstyle. Playing as the Dragonborn in a time where Stormcloaks and Imperials are in a civil war, you are a nobody yet, but make a name for yourself defending the people/cities of Skyrim.
Gaining favour with Jarls grants access to purchase property in their strongholds. Absorbing dragon’s souls after their death gives you power in the form of a shout. There are many skills to unlock, through the warrior, mage, or thief skill trees. You could have increased damage or more resistance to magic. There is so much flexibility with how your story unravels and who you want to be. Playing certain questlines you may find yourself playing the hero, villain or sometimes both. There are the main quests Dawnguard and The Thieves Guild giving you the chance to become a werewolf or vampire. It has so much to offer in terms of content, leaving you to play for hours on end.
I would score this game 10/10 for its character creation and choice of powers.
