My name is Vera, I am 23 years old and am studying Journalism and Business Communication in Iserlohn (Germany). Currently I am for a semester abroad in Brighton. I chose Brighton due to its beautiful city near the seaside. I have been here several times before and am still impressed by this wonderful city!

I love to travel and getting to know new places I have never seen before. It is my passion. It does not always has to be a destination far away. Even cities or areas where you live can be super interesting to discover. My parents took me to a island (Fehmarn) near the Baltic Sea every year starting when I still was a baby. That was when I felt in love with the ocean and when my hobby was created.

When I got older I always wanted to discover places – the wanderlust feeling is deep in my soul. I found the perfect partner who shares my wanderlust: my boyfriend! 🙂 Since we know each other we have been to several places in my home country Germany, we have been to England, Italy, Malta, France, Belgium and the Netherlands. We are currently planning our summer holidays which may take us to Italy again. We just can´t stand being at home all weekend without having discovered anything new. I have a bucket list for destinations I really want to go: the USA, China, Australia, Greece, Cuba, Russia and many more. Due to my studies I love writing. I work the local newspaper in my hometown and am currently writing about places I discover during my semester abroad. Writing about my experiences and my impressions of my hobby is something I would like to do in future professional. I would love to become a journalist specialized in travel reports.

Now I created this blog to share my adventures with you and give some tips where you could go and what is worth to see. Let´s travel the world (currently it will mostly be England :)) and have a save journey! Bon voyage!
