Interview

To go along with our tinder submissions article, I interviewed a couple that began their relationship on this dating app.

Interview

Tinder isn’t all about dirty embarrassing stories that you cringe at every time it crosses your mind. We sent Teresa to meet and chat to Billie Miller and Molly Wiggins whose successful relationship blossomed from tinder.

Was there any super liking?

Molly – Right, before when we had it, it wasn’t there was it?

Billie – No! It was just normal.

Molly – It was just literally like, swipe left or right, it wasn’t upgraded to that level.

Where was your first date, and how was it?

Billie – What’s it called again The Harvester?

Molly – It was in Ipswich at yeah The Harvester that restaurant, and we went bowling.

Billie – But we went to The Harvester cause we got a free salad that comes with your meal and it was amazing!

Did you think you we’re going to meet your other half on tinder when you signed up?

Molly – No.

Billie – What does that mean?

Molly – Like did you think that were your girlfriend on tinder.

Billie – Oh, no.

Do you think it’s easier or harder to meet people online?

Billie – Easier.

Molly – Easier I think, definitely. Most people online are a bit desperate.

Billie – Yeah sometimes, That’s so mean!

How did the relationship progress after your first date?

Billie – Right, let me work this out.

Molly – You’ve got a bad memory so you probably won’t even know.

Billie – We met on the 28th of October, and then we got fully together you know like girlfriends, on the 22nd of November. So it progressed pretty fast.

How do you feel about telling people you met on tinder, do you feel embarrassed?

Molly – Omg, we lied to our mum’s for like months, and then we finally broke the news we met on tinder.

Billie – You told my mum and I was like, What?!

Molly – It’s just a bit embarrassing isn’t it.

Billie – But now we don’t really care.

And finally, how long have you been together?

Billie – It was one-year yesterday.

Molly – One year and a day.

Billie – 367, 68, 60 what days? It’s 365, no wait 366, yeah.
