Restoring Deleted Panopto Videos
If you have accidentally deleted a video in Panopto, or if you decide later that a deleted video needs to be recovered, here are the steps: Log into any module area with Panopto Video enabled, and click on Panopto Video to go to the folder. Click on the <strong>Pop-out icon</strong> to enter the full-screen Panopto site. <a href=""><img class="aligncenter wp-image-1437 size-large" src="" alt="Screencapture of Panopto pop-out icon" width="550" height="272" /></a> Once you're there, scroll to the bottom/left of the menu, and you'll see a <strong>System</strong> button, click this. <a href=""><img class="aligncenter wp-image-1438" src="" alt="Screencapture of the System button in panopto" width="579" height="303" /></a> When you click on <strong>System</strong>, you'll see the Recycle bin is the first choice in the menu. Click on the <strong>Recycle bin</strong>. <a href=""><img class="aligncenter wp-image-1439" src="" alt="Screencapture of Recycle Bin" width="284" height="183" /></a> In the recycle bin, you'll see all the videos you've deleted. <strong>Mouse-over</strong> the video you wish to restore, and a '<strong>Restore</strong>' button will appear.
