How do I move a Panopto video into a different module?
If you accidentally recorded a Panopto video into the incorrect module, you can move it to the correct module. You have to do this, so that the students on the correct module have permission to view it. Go to the module where the video is mistakenly living. Click on Panopto Video link (1) in the menu, and then click on the 'expand' button (2) to enter into the full Panopto experience. <a href=""><img class="aligncenter wp-image-1747 size-large" src="" alt="Screencapture of a Panopto video link and the panopto expand button being highlighted" width="550" height="179" /></a> Tick the box on the video that you wish to move. &nbsp; <a href=""><img class="aligncenter wp-image-1748" src="" alt="A tickbox on a video being highlighted" width="596" height="310" /></a> Once you've ticked the box, a Move button will appear. Click the Move button <a href=""><img class="aligncenter wp-image-1746" src="" alt="Screencapture of a video selected and a move button being available" width="675" height="254" /></a> Under the 'Move session(s) to menu, click on the dropdown to view your other module folders. <a href=""><img class="aligncenter wp-image-1749" src="" alt="Screencapture showing the move session(s) to dropdown menu" width="515" height="154" /></a> Click on the dropdown next to the My Studies 20/21 folder to find your list of modules <a href=""><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-1750" src="" alt="Screencapture showing the expand arrow next to the My Studies folder in Panopto" width="421" height="274" /></a> Choose the correct module from the dropdown list. <em>If you have trouble seeing or expanding any folders, try a different web browser. </em> <a href=""><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-1751" src="" alt="Screencapture showing an alternate module folder which can be chosen" width="497" height="361" /></a> Once you've chosen the correct module, click the green Move button. <a href=""><img class="aligncenter wp-image-1752" src="" alt="Screencapture showing the large green coloured Move button" width="558" height="193" /></a> Once the video has been moved, you will see a success tick mark, and the window will tell you it's done. <a href=""><img class="aligncenter wp-image-1753" src="" alt="Screencapture of the successfully moved video with a green tick mark and a done word highlighted." width="531" height="159" /></a> You will notice that the video has disappeared from the folder <a href=""><img class="aligncenter wp-image-1754" src="" alt="Screencapture of the video no longer visible in the mistaken module's folder" width="377" height="196" /></a> And if you go to the correct module, you will see the video at the bottom of the Panopto Video area of that module. <a href=""><img class="aligncenter wp-image-1755" src="" alt="Screencapture of the moved video appearing at the bottom of the CORRECT module's Panopto folder." width="562" height="432" /></a> &nbsp;
