Answer:

External Examiners are given University of Brighton accounts, enabling them to log in to services such as My Studies. Therefore if an External Examiner will require access to any content within Microsoft Teams, we recoomend:

  1. External Examiners are added using their University of Brighton account details (you can add them in the same way you add students or staff)
  2. Add External Examiners to your teams as soon as possible (i.e. start of term). Access to the content (including recordings) within a Team depends on whether a user was enrolled when content was added. For example, any Teams meeting recordings made before a user was enrolled will be unavailable to them.
