Note: Students using Chromebooks will not be able to view recorded Powerpoints. We now recommend using Panopto Video to avoid some of your students being unable to access it.

You will require an up to date computer (eg Windows 10) with the latest version of Powerpoint downloaded from Office 365 (free download) and a microphone.
Note: If using a standard staff PC on campus you will not be able to use this feature and should Pre-record using Panopto.
Create your presentation as normal, then select > Slideshow > Record Slideshow.
Advance through slides and record your narration.
If you have only one slide, to stop the recording press the PAUSE button.
At the end of the presentation when asked select “Yes” to save your new slide timings.
We suggest that you then export your narrated powerpoint as a video file, and upload this to Panopto, for accessibility reasons.
