Reflecting on materials and activities in My Studies and Teams

During Semester 1 lots of feedback has been collected from staff and students about their experiences of using My Studies and Teams. We know that staff are putting more time than envisaged into creating recorded materials for My Studies, and that some students are struggling to work their way through them.

Essential activity:

  • Reflect on the balance of materials and activities in My Studies and Teams:┬áBased on your experiences and student feedback, consider the most effective use of asynchronous materials in My Studies and delivering live in Teams, bearing in mind your capacity and the time taken by students to engage with asynchronous materials.
  • This Sway resource can be used individually or as part of a team activity to encourage reflection on these issues.

Further ideas and resources:

All students should be able to meet the learning outcomes for a module through engaging with materials in My Studies, in case they can’t engage with live Teams sessions.
