The windows exhibition to mark International Women’s Day 2018, the centenary of Women’s Suffrage and to link with #Westrike took place from mid February to the end of March. Sweetshop artists made drawings from a photograph of Suffrage pilgrims arriving in London, 26 July 1913, and collated quotes from feminist scholars from the early decades of the 20th century, from the 1970s and from the late 1990’s, to give a context to our connection the current call for the impossible, a women’s strike
