From 13th – 17th March, the University’s annual Green Week will take place across all five campuses.
Organised as part of the university’s c-change campaign, Green Week is a great opportunity for students and staff to celebrate and raise awareness of all the fantastic environmental initiatives taking place at the university, and to inspire further action towards a more sustainable future.
A whole host of green-themed events and activities get organised by staff and students across the university – film screenings, bake sales, bike workshops, biodiversity walks, craft activities and much much more!

Green Week ‘Roadshows’ led by the c-change campaign, will also roam the five campuses during the week – details below!
Green Week 2017 c-change Roadshows
The c-change campaign will be visiting each of the five campuses for a Green Week ‘roadshow’ – spending one day at each site.
We’ll be giving out free water flasks, reusable bags and delicious bars of Divine fairtrade chocolate, as part of our Big c-change Pledgeathon, so drop by to make your pledge when we visit your campus.
Students and staff will also be able to bring in their bikes for a free maintenance check with Dr Bike, which will be running alongside all the roadshows.

c-change roadshow 11am – 2pm each day:
- Monday 13th March: Grand Parade café
- Tuesday 14th March: Eastbourne – Greynore & Sprinters restaurants
- Wednesday 15th March: Moulsecoomb – Cockcroft, SU reception
- Thursday 16th March: Hastings – Priory Square foyer
- Friday 17th March: Falmer – Checkland Atrium
The Big c-change Pledge-athon!
As part of Green Week we’re asking staff and students from across the University of Brighton to come together and take action to reduce their environmental impact on campus – choosing one of our 4 pledges to take on for the month of March.
Plus, as well as doing your bit for sustainability on campus, everyone who pledges will be in with a chance to win one of five £25 Amazon vouchers!
