Monday 19 September – National holiday

Following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the UK government has declared Monday 19 September a public holiday. This will be the day of the state funeral and the last day of the period of national mourning.

If you have a personal television, or receive television channels via your laptop or computer, in your room, or communal area, you will need to get a TV licence. It’s the law and you could get fined for not having one!
