Take part in the Terrence Higgins Trust’s Ribbon Walk – 3 April
Terrence Higgins Trust, the UK’s leading HIV and sexual health charity, have an exciting new event for 2022 and you’re invited!
Walk, sashay or stroll with us in Brighton on Sunday 3 April as we unite in the fight against HIV with the fabulous Ribbon Walk.
The Brighton 10km Ribbon Walk is a totally non-competitive, pressure-free event that people of all abilities can take part in.
Take part alone or with a group of friends.
What to expect
- Registration starts at 11am, with walkers starting in small groups around midday.
- Pastries, tea and coffee on arrival at Charles Street Tap.
- Meet like-minded people and walk together on an accessible, signposted route around picturesque Brighton.
- Face painters to give you that sparkle before you set off.
- Fabulous Drag Queens to walk alongside and to welcome you back after the walk.
- Celebration drinks after your walk.
- A free Terrence Higgins Trust T-shirt.
- Your very own finishers’ Ribbon Walk medal.
- Cabaret to follow if you’d like to make an evening of it.
How to take part
It costs £10 to take part which helps to cover all the costs involved so that the money you raise can all be spent on supporting people affected by HIV.
All walkers are invited to raise a minimum of £150 in sponsorship and the team at Terrence Higgins Trust will be there with you every step of the way, from setting up your JustGiving page to hints and tips on how to smash your target.
Every penny you raise supports people to live well with HIV and end HIV transmissions in the UK by 2030.
